How do I add my first account?
From Home, add an account, choose its type and currency, then enter the current balance. You do not need past entries.
How do I record spending in a sentence?
Open entry, type it as you would say it, then review the drafts Mahwarak prepares before saving.
How do I scan a receipt?
Choose receipt entry, take the photo, then review the amount, type, and account. Reading happens on your phone.
How do I add a debt or instalment?
Open Follow-ups, choose the type, and add the amount, person, and date. Record partial payments later.
How do I add a sulfa?
From Planning, add a sulfa, its members, contribution, and turn order. Mahwarak shows paid, remaining, and payout date.
How do I reserve money for a goal?
Create a goal in Planning and set its amount. Reserve money from an account; it leaves Available without becoming spending.
How do I make a budget?
Create a budget and choose its category, limit, and period. Totals follow entries recorded in that category.
How do I change an exchange rate?
Open the rate card in an entry. Choose official, last transaction, or enter a manual rate.
How do I choose the reporting currency?
Open the default or reporting currency in Settings. Totals use it whenever a rate is available.
How do I compare two months?
Open Analytics, then Comparison. Choose months, a year, or a custom date range.
How do I read Basira?
Each card describes a change from your record. Open it to see the entries or categories behind the result.
How do I export a report?
Open Export in Settings, choose a date range and accounts, then select PDF or CSV.
How do I make a backup?
Open Backup in Settings, choose a password, and keep the file somewhere you can access later.
How do I lock the app?
Open App lock in Settings, then choose biometrics, a pattern, or the PIN available on your device.
How do I hide balances?
Use the eye button on Home. Numbers stay hidden until you show them again.
How do I restore a deleted entry?
Open Trash within seven days and choose Restore. You can also undo immediately after deletion.
How do I delete my data?
Delete phone data from Settings › Data. Delete a cloud account from Settings › Account.
How do I enable reminders?
Open Notifications in Settings, enable them, then choose the types and times you want.
