Photograph a purchase, withdrawal or deposit slip, or scan a QR code. Mahwarak reads the amount and prepares the entry for you to check. Reading happens on your phone; the photo is never uploaded.
Add a debt, instalment, subscription or bill once. Mahwarak reminds you before it's due and works out what's left after a part-payment.

Currencies
Each account has its own currency. Spend or receive in another and Mahwarak converts it at the rate you choose.
Three kinds of rate for each currency, and you can change the rate on any entry.
Pick a reporting currency in Settings and the home screen shows your total in it.
See what your balances are worth in dollars, euros or any other currency. It's for viewing only and never changes your balances.
In insights, each currency's income and spending are counted separately, so figures never mix.

Privacy & security
You don't need an account to use Mahwarak.
The whole app runs on your phone. It only goes online to update exchange rates.
Everything you record is stored encrypted on your phone and stays locked even if someone gets at the phone's files.
Nobody else opens Mahwarak, even with your phone in their hand.
An encrypted file with a password you choose. Keep it where you like and restore it on a new phone.
What you type to the assistant and your receipt photos are never sent to a server or an AI service.
Mahwarak doesn't ask for your messages, contacts, location or microphone.

Yes. Mahwarak is free to download and use. We may add optional paid features later; everything that works today stays free.
No. Everything works on your phone without an account or internet. It only goes online to update exchange rates.
Not yet. You record entries by sentence, receipt photo or by hand, and they stay on your phone. We're looking at importing transactions from banks and wallets in a privacy-preserving way.
No. Mahwarak organises and tracks your money: it records spending and income, reminds you of debts and instalments, and works out what's available from your numbers. It never moves money or pays on your behalf.

Settings › Data › “Delete data”. For a cloud account: Settings › Account › “Delete cloud account”, or email privacy@mahwarak.com from the account address and we will delete it within 30 days.
Balance is everything in your accounts. Available is what's left after goal savings and the instalments and bills due before month end. Expected income counts only once it arrives.
For each currency, choose the official rate when available, your last transaction's rate, or one you enter. You can change it on any entry. In Iraq, Mahwarak points out that official and street rates differ.
Yes. Choose a reporting currency in Settings and the home screen totals your balances in it whenever a rate is available. The converter shows their value in any other currency.
Your data lives only on your phone, so keep a backup: an encrypted file with a password you choose, stored somewhere safe and restored on the new phone. Without it we can't recover your data, because we never had it.
Sync between devices is part of Mahwarak Plus, currently activated with an activation or invitation code.
